JEANE MARIE GREINER, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 12, 2024, in Las Cruces, NM. She was born to Sarah and Ernesto Suarez on February 27, 1963, at Walson Army Hospital in Ft. Dix, New Jersey.

Jeane graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1981 and went on to attend New Mexico State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She had a passion for education and touched the lives of many young students during her time as a teacher. She dedicated 8 years of her life to teaching elementary in the Las Cruces Public Schools system.

After her teaching career, Jeane spent 20 years working in the field of land surveying. Jeane then went on to teach English as a second language and tutor many students from elementary to college, sharing her knowledge and helping others achieve their goals. She was known for her patience and dedication to her students. Jeane's love for learning extended beyond her professional life. Jeane served as a nanny to several families, providing care and support to children in their formative years. Her nurturing nature and genuine love for children made her a cherished caregiver.

Jeane is survived by her son, stepsons, and partners: Tyler Bishop and Ashlee, Kris and Nikki, Mike and Jen, Aaron, and Jesse. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Troy, Romian, Kenadie, Tyler-Douglas, Carmyn, James, Maddie, and Bella. Jeane is also survived by her siblings: David Suarez and wife Michelle, Ernest Suarez and wife Bonnie, Edward Suarez and wife Doraine, Dolores Suarez, and Barbara Brewer.

A celebration of life will be held in her memory July 6th at The New Mexico Farm and Ranch Museum from 2PM-4PM.

The family would like to express gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and respect during this challenging time. Jeane Marie Greiner will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and positive impact on the lives of those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that her family and friends will cherish.
