Jacqueline Marie Ramirez, 59, of Las Cruces NM, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2026. Born on April 21, 1966, Jacqueline was a woman who truly got along with everyone and leaves behind a wide circle of friends who will deeply miss her vibrant spirit.

Jacqueline found her greatest joy in life's simplest pleasures. She was a talented knitter who enjoyed the quiet peace of her craft, but she was equally at home in the middle of a gathering. She loved nothing more than hanging out with her friends, sitting around a warm fire, and enjoying a beer. Her home was often filled with laughter and the music of Barry Manilow. She had a heart for animals and was a devoted "dog mom" to her beloved Cloe and Gia, who will greatly miss her companionship.

For the past six years, Jacqueline shared her life with her partner, Gilbert Limon. She was a loving presence in the lives of his two boys, Gilbert "Gilly" and Adam Limon, whom she saw and loved as her own sons.

She is survived by her devoted brothers, Salvador Ramirez (Silvia) and Gabriel Ramirez (Laura); her sisters, Thelma Marquez (Sal) and Janet Paddilla (Eddie). She was a cherished aunt and friend to many.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Felicitas Ramirez, and her brother-in-law, Sal Marquez.

She will be remembered for her easygoing nature, her kind heart, and the many nights spent under the stars with those she loved.

Jacqueline visitation will be January 26, 2026 at 5 pm her funeral vigil will be at 6 pm to be followed by her Funeral Liturgy at Baca's Funeral Chapels. Cremation will take place at a later date.
