Irma Byrd, 72 of Las Cruces, New Mexico, left us, surrounded by her family on March 2, 2024. Irma was born in Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, México to Maria De La Luz and Rafael. Irma lived a full and warm life, filled with joy. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Irma is survived by her Son Jose Ivan; Sisters Yoli; Monia; Kukis; Brothers Rafael; Alvaro; Monchis; Polin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Maria De Luz and Rafael; and her husband Stephen.

Visitation for Irma will begin at 6 PM Monday March 11, 2024, at the at Baca's Funeral Chapels 300 E Boutz Rd.  with the Prayer Vigil at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Health Church 1178 N Mesquite St.

Irma Byrd, 72 años de Las Cruces, Nuevo México, nos dejó rodeada de su familia el 2 de marzo de 2024. Irma nació en Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, México, hija de María De La Luz y Rafael. Irma vivió una vida plena y cálida, llena de alegría. La recordaremos con cariño y la extrañaremos profundamente.

A Irma le sobreviven su hijo José Iván; las hermanas Yoli; Monia; Kukis; Hermanos Rafael; Álvaro; Monchis; Polin; y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres María De Luz y Rafael; y su marido Stephen.

Los servicios serán el lunes 11 de marzo a las 6 pm y el Rosario a las 7 pm en las Capillas Funerarias de Baca. La misa se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Salud a las 10 am el martes 12 de marzo.
