Ines Orozco Muniz, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. She was born on April 12, 1931, in La Jolla Satevo, Chiuhuahua to Inez and Rosalio Orozco.
Inez gently tended to her flower gardens but also was known for her strong work ethic and quiet resilience. Her life was defined by devotion to her husband of many years, to family, and to her faith…values conveyed to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Josefina Vander Wagen and husband Norman; two sons, Israel Muniz, wife Veronica, Ruben Muniz and his wife Emma. Six grandchildren; Cazandra I. Levendosky, Victoria McRae, Alexis Muniz, Enrique Muniz, and Isaiah and Joshua Vander Wagen. Nine great-grandchildren; Allen, William, Kai, Paradise, Aileen, Enrique Jr., Avyan, Isaiah Jr., and Lexi all whom she loved with all her heart. Other survivors include extended family members who will miss her but keep her in their memories.
Ines is preceded in death by her husband Jose Muniz, a daughter Teresa McRae, parents, her sister and three brothers, Elvira Saenz, Rodolfo, Rosalio and Ricardo Orozco.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the San Miguel Catholic Church, located at 19217 Highway 28. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. Recitation of the Rosary will follow at 2:00 P.M. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 P.M. Interment and the Rite of Committal will conclude at the San Miguel Cemetery, where Mrs. Muniz will be laid to rest.
Family and friends will remember Mrs. Muniz for her strength, her kindness, and love felt by those around her. "Te vamos a extranar y siempre te vamos a quierer y tener en nuestra memoria"
