Helen Ann Rodriguez, age 89, of Brazito, NM, passed away on June 23, 2024, at Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces, NM.

Helen was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Robert Delaney and Helen Makuch. She loved football and was a die-hard 49ners fan. Her other true passion was her 28 years working at Wal-Mart, where she made countless friends.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann Rodriguez-Haught of Las Cruces, Sharon Downs of Madison, Alabama, Becky Rodriguez of Santa Fe, Nancy (Chris) Gromek of Gilbert, Arizona, Barbara (Mike) Gatlin of Las Cruces; sons, Ray (Linda) Rodriguez of Orangevale, CA, Charles (Terry) Rodriguez of Orangevale, CA, Jose Alfred Rodriguez of Orangevale, CA, and Raul (Ruth) Rodriguez of Las Cruces. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jose J. Rodriguez and brother, Robert Delaney

At her request, cremation will take place and a Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E Boutz Road, Las Cruces, NM.
