Guadalupe J. Macias, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. She was born on December 11, 1930, in Torrington, Wyoming, to Cecilia and Jose Calistro Jimenez.
Guadalupe spent many dedicated years working at Stahman Farms, where she was known for her strong work ethic and quiet resilience. Her life was defined by devotion—to her family, her faith, and the values she carried with grace.
She is survived by her son, Reymundo Vasquez; her daughters, Rosa Rosalez (Rafael) and Martina Macias, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many extended family members who will continue to carry her memory forward. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Nicolas Macias; her children Margarita Calderon, Enriqueta Vasquez, Jaime Vasquez, and Jose Calistro Vasquez; her brothers Hilario Jimenez and Anastacio Jimenez; her grandson, Joe Juarez Jr., and great grandsons Joey Juarez, Kane Juarez and Duane Anthony Vasquez.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at San Miguel Catholic Church, located at 19217 Highway 28. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. Recitation of the Rosary will follow at 10:30 A.M. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Interment and the Rite of Committal will conclude at San Miguel Cemetery, where Guadalupe will be laid to rest among loved ones.
Her family and friends will remember her for her strength, her kindness, and the deep love she held for those around her. May she rest in eternal peace.
