Gregorio Polanco, Jr., 92, passed away on July 27, 2024.  Greg was born in Las Cruces, NM, January 4, 1932, to Gregorio and Maria Guerra Polanco.  Greg retired from New Mexico State University in 2002, where he worked as a Printing and Duplicating Supervisor in the Bulletin/Print Shop, Agriculture Building, for 35 years.

Greg is survived by three sons all of Las Cruces – David, Vincent (Teresa), and Ruben (Brandi), and three daughters – Vicki Estes  (Jim) of Pipe Creek, TX, Rosanna Calderon (Richard) of Tucson, AZ, and Laura Lujan (Gilbert) of San Antonio, TX.  Other survivors include sixteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and his beloved dog Nikki, who was always by his side.  Greg was preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae of sixty-two years in 2016, and his parents.

Services will be on Friday September 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E Boutz Road, Las Cruces NM 88005. Inurnment will take place at a later time.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapel and Sunset Crematory.
