It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Gary Lane on January 19, 2025. He was born June 20, 1949 in Red Oak Iowa to Gladys Christianson Lane and Lester Lane.  He came to Truth or Consequences as a young boy.  He moved around a lot, but came  back to T or C in 1986, spent the rest of his life here and considered this to be his home.

He loved the Lord and his church family at Impact Ministries Church.  He loved playing card games and especially loved to win.  Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He enjoyed driving a truck and spent his life working various jobs driving a truck, running equipment, welding, and doing mechanic work.  His sons always enjoyed learning from him and working with him in his shop.

Those left to mourn him include his beloved wife Patty, sons Bobby Lane (Tammy) and John Lane (Andrea), daughter Penny Lane, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Lester and his daughter Paula Lane Hermenitt.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday January 29, 2025 at Impact Church, 307 Rock Canyon Road in Elephant Butte. Visitations will begin at 0930 A.M. and the services will begin at 1030 A.M. Interment and Rite of Committal will conclude at Hot Springs Cemetery.
