Obituary

A life well-lived, a legacy cherished, and a community forever grateful. On July 11, 2023, Las Cruces lost a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Fred Joe Flores, born on September 8, 1957, in La Puente California, brought warmth and joy to the lives of all who knew him. Fred's journey was defined by love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family. For over 50 years, he shared a deep and meaningful bond with his loving wife, Emma, a union that stood as a testament to the power of enduring love.

As a devoted father, Fred was a source of guidance and support to his two sons, Joshua and Fred Jr., and his daughter Priscilla. His love knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with his 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, filling their lives with laughter and love. Fred's heart was expansive, embracing not only his immediate family but also his brothers, Roger and Johnny, and sisters, Pat and Miriam. Their bond was unbreakable, and together they created memories that will be treasured for generations.

Fred's commitment extended beyond his family. For over 35 years, he called Las Cruces his home, serving the community with dedication through his business, Joshua's Small Dent Repair. His skilled hands mended more than just vehicles; they repaired the hearts of those who sought his assistance. As Fred's journey continues into the realm of memories, he entrusted his son Fred Jr. and grandson Jory Orona with the honor of carrying on the family business now named J&J Auto Collision LLC, and serving the Las Cruces community, a legacy that will be lovingly preserved.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Fred Joe Flores will take place on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Baca's Funeral Chapels of Las Cruces and Sunset Crematory.
