Francisco Javier Noyola, 88, of Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico, passed away on June 23, 2024, in Las Cruces, NM.

Francisco was born in Jerez to Paola de Avila and Pedro Noyola.  In his younger years, he loved serving the Catholic Church as a sacristan, composed and directed plays for his community.  He served his hometown by fixing appliances and electronics and giving advice.  He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, listening to music, singing karaoke, writing poetry and nature.

Francisco is survived by (Maria de la Luz); children: Angelica Maria Noyola; Francisco Javier Noyola, Jr; Gloria Elizabeth Noyola; Miguel Angel Noyola (spouse Alisa); Luis Gabriel Noyola; Engracia Esther Noyola; Ana Delia Noyola; and Manuel de Jesus Noyola; grandchildren: Agustin Rios; Olga Luz Rios; Martin Eduardo Rios; Michael Angel Noyola; John Bradley Noyola; Bailey Peter Navarro; and great grandchild: Rosalinda Rios.

He was preceded in death by children Rosa Alba Noyola and Lucio Rafael Noyola.

A visitation for Francisco will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, starting at 9am at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, 1178 North Mesquite Street. A prayer vigil will begin at 10am with a Funeral Mass to follow. Cremation will follow services.
