Frances (Franky) Lilynn-Neta Bohannon, born November 12, 1992 and passed away on May, 15, 2026.  She was a compassionate, kind and loving soul.

Franky was born in Montebello, California and lived most of her life in Southern California.  In summer of 2023 she moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico to be closer to family and she quickly adjusted to the Las Cruces way of living.  She gave birth to her son, Julian Hayden Bohannon on March 12, 2024.  She and Julian settled into a space together and they enjoyed a life that turned into a very loving home. Franky had an infectious laugh and personality and she quickly made friends through work and church.

Franky owned two precious Staffordshire Terriers named JD and Emma that had been with her for 10 years.  The two dogs, along with Julian were the loves of her life, they made a great life together.

During her time in Las Cruces, Franky assisted with the care of an elderly gentlemen until his passing.  At that time, she entered into the restaurant business and quickly progressed into management.

Franky is survived by her loving mom and stepfather, Carol  & John Steele of Las Cruces; her father, David W. Bohannon of California; her three brothers, David C Bohannon (35) of Las Cruces , Keith Steele of Kauai, Hawaii (39) and Cody Steele (36) of Long Beach, CA; and her beautiful son, Julian Hayden Bohannon (2) of Las Cruces, NM.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins that live in various states across the country.
