Eugene "Gene" Drakulich peacefully passed into the Lord's arms on February 5th, 2025, at the age of 94. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard, leaving behind a legacy of courage, duty, and unwavering commitment.

Born on January 5th, 1931, in Dayton, OH to Mike and Johanna Drakulich. Gene grew up with a profound sense of patriotism. He joined the United States Coast Guard at the age of 18.

Beyond his military career, Gene met the love of his life Betty and was by her side until she departed. He enjoyed exercising and participating in the Senior Olympics in which he won several medals. He loved Trump and the Oakland Raiders. He attended the first Raiders game in Oakland, CA. Gene was a cherished friend to many and will be remembered for his unwavering support for those he loved. He was preceded in death by Betty Keas and his parents Johanna and Mike Drakulich. He leaves behind friends that loved and cared for him like he was family.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be at Baca's Funeral Home on March 6th, 2025, at 10:00AM.

Gene's spirit of dedication and service will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be greatly missed by all.
