Esperanza Torres age 98, entered eternal life Tuesday evening at her home in Las Cruces, NM . She was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico on March 10, 1927.

Esperanza was a strong and determined woman. She was a factory seamstress until she married her husband Erasmo Torres and became a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Esperanza was preceded in death by her husband Erasmo and sons Erasmo Jr. and Abraham.

She is survived by her three daughters Socorro Gallardo and husband Rafael, Esperanza and Blanca and her husband Willie all of Las Cruces, NM. Two brothers Abraham Perez Lechuga of Tijuana and Fernando Perez Lechuga of Juarez. Other survivors include 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Services will be held on October 2, 2025 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, 1178 N. Mesquite Street. Visitation will begin at 09:00 A.M Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:00 A.M. and the Mass will be Celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Interment and Rite of Committal will conclude at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue.
