Erlinda Barela Acosta passed away on July 18, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center at the age of 63. She was born on June 26, 1960 in Hatch to Lydia Serna and Benito Barela.

Erlinda was Known as  good person inside and out She was Very Loving and Caring always gave help when needed , always making people laugh very out going. She will Be loved & Missed

Those left to carry on her memory include her children. Three daughters Sonia Hernandez (Robert), Maria Acosta and Anita Acosta, Her Twelve Grandchildren Alexis, Antonio(Tony), Richard, Julian,Destiny, Linda, Alyssa, Crucita, Angel, Rihanna, Juanito, Analiah. Her Live in Boyfriend Alonso Burciaga & ten brothers and eight sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents Benito & Lydia, her son Julian, Grandson Armando and her sisters Lela and Eva,

A prayer vigil will be held on Thursday August 10, 2023 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E Boutz Road. Visitations will begin at 05:00 P.M. and the Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 06:00 P.M. The Funeral Liturgy will be on Friday August 11, 2023 at 09:30 A.M. at Bacas Funeral Chapel. Interment and Rite of Committal will conclude at St. Joseph's Cemetery 100 S. Espina Street.
