On the night of June 12, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones, ENRIQUETA ESTRADA was called home into the arms of God. It was not just the end of a life, but a quiet graceful return to her beloved husband Miguel Estrada, whose birthday came just one hour after her passing. Their love found its way back together with God.

Enriqueta was born July 20, 1931, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, to Tomás and Rita Rodríguez. She came from a hardworking family of seamstresses and wheelwrights, where care and craftsmanship were passed down through generations. These qualities lived on in her—through her hands, her words, and her heart.

In the 1950s, she met the love of her life in Juárez, Mexico. With Miguel by her side, they settled in Anthony, New Mexico, where they raised seven children and built a home filled with love, faith, and unforgettable memories.

Enriqueta was known for her endless kindness, gentle presence, and giving spirit. She never judged, never turned anyone away, and always put others before herself. Her words, though soft, were full of meaning and love.

Her hobbies included cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with family—her greatest priority. Her favorite hobby was cooking and baking; with the simplest ingredients, she crafted gourmet meals that nourished both body and soul.

Above all, Enriqueta loved God with all her heart and lived her Catholic faith proudly. Whether she prayed at the dinner table or made the sign of the cross in public, she was never shy about her devotion. As a young woman, she once witnessed an apparition of La Virgen María—a sacred moment she carried with her for the rest of her life.

After a lifetime of giving to others, she was called home to join her parents, siblings, loving husband Miguel, and her daughter Gloria.

She leaves behind seven children: Jesse, Carmen, Teresa, Velia, Mike, Irma, and Marisela
twelve grandchildren: Nilda, Jesse Jr, Maro, Carmen, Tony, Jenny, Marcos, Raul Jr, Ernesto, Ricardo, Amanda, and Adela; seven great-grandchildren: Lyrelye, Destiny, Adrian, Mya, Anthony Jr, Michael, and Aaron; and one great-great-grandchild, Kemper.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM Monday, June 30, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Street in Anthony with the Prayer Vigil at 10:30AM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter with The Reverend Alonso Quinonez, Celebrant. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Anthony Community Cemetery where she will be laid to rest in the family plot.
