Emily Esther Pacheco, beloved mother, daughter, sister, educator and friend was called home on February 3, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1983, in Tucson, Arizona, to Esther Hernandez and the late Enrique Pacheco.

Emily dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a 4th‑grade teacher with Las Cruces Public Schools. Her classroom was a place of patience, encouragement, and joy—qualities that reflected the heart she brought to everything she did.

A devout Catholic, Emily was deeply involved in the community of Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, where she found purpose and friendship through her faith and her cherished role in the church choir. Her voice, kindness, and steady presence enriched the lives of all who worshipped alongside her.

Emily is survived by her mother, Esther Pacheco; her daughter, Eliana Pacheco; her siblings David, Ruben, Andy, Dolores and Enrique. She was preceded in death by her father, Enrique Pacheco and sister Lucy.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, 5035 Holsome Road. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M Recitation of the Rosary will be at 2:00 P.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:30 P.M.

Interment and the Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 100 N. Espina Street.

Emily's warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family, students, and faith will be remembered always. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.
