Elizabeth Martinez, 70, a beloved Wife, Mother, Abuelita, and devoted servant of God, departed from this world on Friday, May 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Her unwavering faith and profound love for her family were the cornerstones of her life, leaving a permanent mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Elizabeth was born on April 26, 1954 in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Amador Frayre and Nicolasa Hernandez. She was a devoted wife to Manuel, her partner and confidant for 50 years. Together, they built a life grounded in love, respect, and shared values. Her children, Amador, Rocio and Lily were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into nurturing, guiding, and supporting them in every endeavor. When promoted to Wela, Grama Iby was delighted in showering her grandchildren with affection and wisdom. She cherished every moment spent with them, imparting valuable lessons and creating cherished memories.

Elizabeth enjoyed gardening and shopping. She was a fantastic cook, who loved to bring her family and friends together for a good meal. Spending time with her family was what she loved most. Though she may no longer walk beside us, Wela's legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to inspire and uplift us. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us through life's trials and reminding us of the profound impact one person can have on the world.

Left to carry on her legacy is her husband, Manuel Martinez; children- Amador Martinez and wife Laura, Rocio Barreras and husband Alex, and Lily Fuentes and husband Isaac; her grandchildren- Andrew Martinez, Sebastian Martinez, Dante Barreras, James Fuentes, Dahlia Barreras, Isaiah Fuentes, Iliana Fuentes and Levi Martinez; siblings- Armando (Maria) Frayre, Catalina (Gerardo) Garcia, Eva Frayre, Leticia (Armando) Martinez, Sonia (Cesar) Irigoyen, Amador (Marisela) Frayre, Jr., Delia (Mario) Apodaca, and Ricardo Frayre. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amador and Nicolasa Frayre and sister, Ruth.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at First Love Church (520 San Andres Drive Anthony, NM 88021) from 9:30AM – 11:00 AM. Mrs. Martinez will then be laid to rest at the Anthony Cemetery. Serving as Casket bearers will be Amador Frayre, Jr., Richard Frayre, Isaac Fuentes, Alex Barreras, James Fuentes and Dante Barreras.

Though we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that Elizabeth has been called home to be with her Heavenly Father, where she will know eternal peace and joy, and is no longer in pain.

Elizabeth Martinez, a la edad de 70 años, amada Esposa, Madre, Abuelita, y dedicada Sierva de Dios, partió de este mundo el viernes, 31 de Mayo de  2024, rodeada de su familia. Su fe inquebrantable y profundo amor por su familia eran los pilares de su vida, dejando una marca permanente en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Elizabeth nació en el 26 de Abril de 1954 en Cd Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, a Amador Frayre y Nicolasa Hernandez.  Ella fue una esposa devota a Manuel, su pareja y confidente  de 50 años. Juntos, construyeron una vida cimentada en el amor, respeto, y valores compartidos.  Sus hijos, Amador, Rocio, y Lily fueron el centro de su mundo, y ella derramó su corazón en criar, guiar, y apoyarlos en cada empeño.  Cuando fue promovida a" Wela", a "Grama Iby" le encantada mostrar su cariño y sabiduría a sus nietos. Ella aprecio cada momento junto a ellos, impartiendo lecciones valiosas y creando recuerdos preciosos.

Elizabeth disfrutaba de la jardinería e ir de compras. Fue una cocinera fenomenal, y era amante de unir a su familia y amigos para tener una buena comida juntos.  Pasar el tiempo con su familia es lo que amaba hacer.  Aunque ella ya no camine a nuestro lado , el legado de Wela, de amor, de fe, y compasión continuará inspirándonos y nos seguira consolando.  Su memoria permanecerá para siempre en nuestros corazones, guiándonos por las pruebas de la vida y recordándonos de el impacto profundo que una persona puede tener en el mundo.

A dejado para llevar su legado es su esposo, Manuel Martinez; hijos- Amador Martinez y esposa Laura, Rocio Barreras y esposo Alex, y Lily Fuentes y esposo Isaac; sus nietos- Andrew Martinez, Sebastian Martinez, Dante Barreras, James Fuentes, Dahlia Barreras, Isaiah Fuentes, Iliana Fuentes, y Levi Martinez; Hermanos- Armando(Maria) Frayre, Catalina(Gerardo) Garcia, Eva Frayre, Leticia(Armando) Martinez, Sonia(Cesar) Irigoyen, Amador (Marisela) Frayre Jr, Delia(Mario) Apodaca, y Ricardo Frayre. Fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres, Amador y Nicolasa Frayre, y hermana Ruth.

Servicios funebres se llevarán a cabo el martes 11 de Junio de 2024 en la iglesia First Love(520 San Andres Drive Anthony, NM 88021) de las 9:30AM-11:00AM. Nuestra amada Elizabeth será sepultada en el Cementerio de Anthony. Los portadores de ataúd serán Amador Frayre Jr, Richard Frayre, Isaac Fuentes, Alex Barreras, James Fuentes, y Dante Barreras.

Aunque lamentamos su pérdida, nos consolamos sabiendo que Elizabeth ha sido llamada a casa para estar con su Padre celestial, donde ella conocerá la paz y alegría eterna, y donde ya no hay dolor.
