Douglas Robert Jenkins II, better known as DJ, was the oldest son of Doug and Linda Jenkins of Las Cruces, NM. D.J. went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2026.

He was born in Jackson North Carolina on June 10, 1968 and moved to Michigan with his parents when he was seven weeks old. After living in Michigan, his family moved to South Carolina for a few years before moving to Arizona. D.J. helped his parents start a Church in New Mexico before moving back to Arizona. For health reasons, he returned to New Mexico and was a resident at the nursing home in Truth or Consequences, NM.

D.J. will be missed by his family: parents Doug and Linda Jenkins, sister, Doralyn (George) Philhour, brother, Darin Jenkins as well as niece and nephew Naomi Philhour and George Philhour Jr.

A visitation for D.J. will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 9-10 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5301 Cortez Avenue. A Funeral Service will follow at 10am with interment at Masonic Cemetery, 760 South Compress Road.
