It is with great sorrow to announce, on March 20, 2026, DOLORES B. GONZALES, "Lola" as many knew her, passed on to be with our Heavenly Father and to be reunited with all her loved ones who passed before her. Born April 8, 1957 "The Daughter" of Albino and Mary M. Baca and raised with the help of Henry Baca. Each influence reflected in the beautifully strong and independent women she became. Lola "The Eldest Sister" to Esther Baca Gonzales, Albino Baca (both who proceed her in death) Norma & Bobby Gonzales, Vicente Baca, Anna & Orlando Parra, Florinda Baca, Henry "Shaggy" Baca (who proceeds her in death) and Renee Baca. A sister whose individual relationships were surrounded by the love she shared with each and everyone of them. Lola "The Wife" was married 53 beautiful years to her soulmate and husband Ernest Gonzales, to whom on this beautiful journey of life, raised five children. "The Mother" to Melissa and Florencio Marinez, Ernest Gonzales Junior, Alex and Joseph Gonzales and Baby Joseph Gonzales (her son who preceded her in death). A mother, whose love, strength and loyalty, will continue to live on through the lives and hearts of her children. Grandma Lola to 18 Amazing Grandchildren "The Matriarch" and Great-Grandma to the future generation of 10 great grandchildren. love, patience, strength and a fair but firm hand, guided and shaped the lives of each and every one of them. A special and unique bond of love, shaped and tailored to their individualities and differences, a bond that shall be cherished never broken. A love to be carried throughout the generations.Those of us who are left to continue with Lola's legacy of love, strength, and loyalty are numerous nieces and nephews, Godchildren, cousins and all who were blessed to be on her life's journey. To know her love, gentleness, humor, wisdom and spirit will continue to be a blessing that we are left to continue with her legacy. Visitation for Lola will begin at 10 AM, Monday, March 30, 2026, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 AM. The Liturgy of the Word will follow thereafter. At her request cremation will take place and Inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date.
