Devin Lamount Pike, born September 3, 1969, in Portland, Oregon, passed away on May 30, 2026. He was the beloved son of Dorothy Lee Mills and Shelly Pike Jr., both of whom preceded him in death.

Devin proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying himself with honor, discipline, and deep commitment. After completing his military service, he dedicated many years to the nursing profession, working in numerous locations and touching countless lives with his compassion and skill. His passion for teaching led him to serve as a Nursing Instructor at New Mexico State University from 2015 to 2022, as well as at Vista College from 2012 to 2014. Through his instruction, he passed on his knowledge, experience, and love for the field to future generations of nurses.

Devin is survived by his devoted wife, Cecilia Pike; his daughters, Amara Chavez and Jasmine Pike; his brother, Shelly Pike III; and his sister, Kimberly Pike. His legacy lives on in the many people he taught, cared for, and loved.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. Interment and Rite of Committal will take place at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
