Delfina Valles Lucero (5/8/1926-12/25/2024), a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother went home to be with our Lord on December 25th peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Known for her love of cooking for others, caring for her family, dancing around the house, the color green, Elvis Presley, sewing, and giving the BEST hugs and kisses. She will be remembered for the joy she brought to life and be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children Vangie Tellez (Joe), Bennie Lucero (Julie), James "Chico" Lucero (Alice), and Rita Banegas (John); her grandchildren Jay Tellez, John Lucero, Victoria Lucero, Lisa Hernandez, Lauri Martinez, Danny Lucero, Amber Ortiz, and Isaac Banegas. Along with many great and great-great grandchildren.

She's is proceed in death by her husband of 59 years Santiago "Jimmy" Lucero; her parents Santiago and Josephina Valles; her siblings Chela Carbajal, Manuel Valles, Aggie Balizan, and Jimmy Valles.

A private graveside funeral will be held at a later date.
