CONCEPCION RODRIGUEZ SAENZ, lovingly known as “Conchita,” age 79, a lifelong resident of Mesquite, entered eternal life Saturday, August 29, 2026, surrounded by her devoted family. Born December 8, 1946, to Maria Silva and Hilario Rodriguez, Conchita lived a life rooted in faith, service, and deep love for her family and community.

A very devout Catholic, Conchita dedicated countless hours volunteering for every event at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Mesquite. She served joyfully, always greeting others with her warm smile and generous heart. Her presence was a blessing—steady, kind, and filled with compassion. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend whose gentle spirit touched all who knew her.

Conchita was a deeply loving and supportive wife throughout her lifetime, standing proudly beside Danny through both his military service and his musical career. Her devotion, encouragement, and steady presence were gifts she offered generously and without hesitation.

Conchita is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Danny Saenz; her sons, Daniel Saenz and John Paul Saenz all of La Mesa; her daughters, Jackie Saenz Parry (Dennis) of Gilbert, Arizona, and Loretta Vega (Joey) of Las Cruces. She is also survived by her sisters, Velia Alvarez and Estella Wilhelm of Las Cruces, and Maggie Reyes of Del Cerro; two brothers, Freddie Rodriguez and Ruben Rodriguez, (Minnie) all from Mesquite; her eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Carmen, Mariquita, and Socorro; and four brothers, Alejandro, Efren, Frank, and Tony.

At her request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 125 W. Mesquite Street in Mesquite. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 2:30 PM, followed immediately by the Memorial Mass. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Conchita’s life was one of faith, service, and unwavering love. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to share in her journey.

In lieu of flowers, a collection box will be available for donations to Conchita’s chosen charity, a cause close to her heart. In accordance with her wishes, the family will not be holding a gathering after the services.
