CLARA WIEREMA DUNKERLY, age 89, of Las Cruces passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was born January 21, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, to Concetta Petrucilli and John Wierema.  Prior to retirement, Clara was employed as a Bank Auditor and was a member of the University United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband, George Dunkerly; son, Thomas Henderson of Las Cruces; grandson, Shawn (Jessica Gregor) of Solato, TX; numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving parents.

At her request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 11, 2025, at University United Methodist Church, 2000 Locust Street.  Inurnment of cremains will take place at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at a later date.
