Christopher Paul Bustamante has gone to be with his lord and savior on Sunday, March 1, 2026. "Chris," as he was fondly known to family and friends was born on May 24, 1989, in Fontana, California to Paul and Judy Bustamante. Christopher had a smile that can light up any room and was everyone's friend. Chris will always be remembered by his smile, kind heart and ability to make everyone his buddy.

Christopher is survived by his parents Paul and Judy Bustamante of Las Cruces; brother, James Radillo (Lily) and their 3 children of Las Vegas; sister, Melisa Corbala (Robert) and their 5 children of Las Vegas;  brother, Paul Andrew Madrid of Las Cruces; sister, Lauren Williams (Kurk) and their 2 children of Las Vegas.

Calling hours for Chris will be at 09:00 A.M., Friday, March 20 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. The prayer vigil is scheduled at 11:30 A.M. at the Basilica De San Albino Catholic Church, 2070 Calle De Santiago in Mesilla with funeral mass to be celebrated thereafter. The rite of committal and interment will follow at San Albino Cemetery in Mesilla where he will be laid to rest in the family plot. Reception to follow.

Serving as casket bearers will be James Radillo, Paul Andrew Madrid, Josh Prieto, Isaac Prieto, Roman Prieto, Devin Bustamante, Angelo Bustamante and Nathaniel Bustamante. Honorary bearers are Eugene Isaac Boone, Anthony Valdovinos, Jesus Avila, Josiah Prieto, Jezreal Prieto, Stephan Paul Bustamante, Valentino Puentes and Augustine Bustamante.
