It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of 77 year old Celia Hernandez on August 12, 2024. She was born February 7, 1947 in Las Mesa, NM to Amalia and Marcos Roman.

Our beloved Celia Hernandez was a beautiful person inside and out. A strong woman of God, a prayer warrior, and always lending a helping hand to anybody that needed help. She served our Lord humbly and loved the praise and worship at her church, and also loved the Dallas Cowboys! She will be greatly missed by so many who loved her uniqueness and kindness!

Those left to mourn her include her son Israel Hernandez, four daughters Yolanda Roman, Michelle Ramirez (Daniel), Christina Hernandez and Stephanie Moreno.

She was preceded in death by her parents Amalia and Marcos, daughters Cynthia Moreno and Gloria Moreno and granddaughter Audrey Lopez.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday August 22, 2024 at Heart for the World Church, 1605 S Valley Drive. Visitations will begin at 02:30 P.M. and the celebration of life is scheduled to begin at 03:30 P.M. At Celia's request cremation will follow and inurnment will be at a later date.
