CELIA DELGADO ABALOS, age 90, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on Monday, June 9, 2025, at La Posada-Mesilla Valley Hospice. She was born September 6, 1935, in Akela, NM to Hilaria Ramos and Reymundo Delgado.

Celia graduated from Deming High and married her high school sweetheart, Benny Abalos, they lived in Deming before moving to Las Cruces. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her sister Connie and going thrifting with her son Rito. Celia's favorite hobby was crocheting and making doilies for family and friends.

Those left to mourn her passing include her loving son, Rito D. Abalos, (Marie); sister, Connie Ponce; 4 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Benny; her son, Benny Abalos Jr; 3 sisters, Lilia Renteria, Aurora Cortez, and Stella Alba.

The Family would like to give a special Thank you to the CNA's and Nurses at Mesilla Valley Hospice for the special care.

At her request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
