BRIGIT NIJOLE TAMULIONIS, 94, died peacefully in Las Cruces, NM on September 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kaunas, Lithuania on September 16, 1932, to Nijole and Adolfus Orvidas.

She immigrated to the US at the age of 18. Brigit attended the University of Illinois, graduated with a degree in chemistry, and then worked at Argonne National Laboratory prior to marrying and starting a family.

Brigit was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank Tamulionis. She is survived by daughters Chris Pierson, Juli Realy, and Nadia Wolf, grandchildren Lauren Karrenberg, Cade Karrenberg, Justin Karrenberg, Stefanie Realy, Robbin Realy, Michael Realy, Savana Campbell, Sophia Shoot, and great grandchild Giovanni Campbell.

Brigit was a devout Catholic, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and a loving and faithful wife. She volunteered for the church for many years. She was always an example of God’s grace, as she took everything in stride with her strong faith and positive attitude. Her light easily reached those around her and the community. She will be remembered fondly.
