Bethyl Begay Trujillo passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on August 17th, 2023, at the age of 57. She was born on December 7th, 1966, in Crownpoint, NM, to parents Betty Tso Begay and Marshall Begay II.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved grandchild, Astro Leigh, and her three cherished children: son Dominik Trujillo and daughters Alyssa Trujillo and Anneliese Trujillo. She is also survived by her two brothers, Marshall Begay III and Everytt Begay.

Bethyl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Medrano Trujillo, parents, Betty and Marshall II Begay, as well as siblings: sisters Dylane Begay, Coryinthia DeLeon, Carla Attcity, brothers Elwyn Begay, Darryl Begay, and Harlyn Begay.

A prayer vigil in honor of Bethyl's life will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, located at 1240 S Espina Street, Las Cruces, NM, 88001. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and will be limited to immediate family only. The recitation of the Rosary is scheduled to commence at 11:00 A.M., followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M.

Following the services, Bethyl will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Michael, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, located at 5140 W. Picacho Avenue.
