In Loving Memory of Beatrice (Bea) Villegas

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Beatrice (Bea) Villegas, 71, of Doña Ana. Bea passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.

Born on March 4, 1954, to Edward (Lalo) and Emma Sanchez, Bea was a beautiful soul who brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who knew her. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors—especially camping trips filled with laughter around the campfire—and found pure joy in dancing and listening to music.

Bea is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Edward (Lalo) Villegas; her children Edward (JR) Villegas and Veronica Vanegas (husband Russell); her five grandchildren, Eric and Kyle Vanegas, Thomas and Trevor Sanchez, Xavier Sanchez; and great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Sanchez. She is also survived by her siblings Ella Chavez (husband Louie), Gloria Rocha (husband Eddie), Rita Archuleta, Eddie Sanchez (wife Mickey), and Fernando Sanchez.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Emma Sanchez, her sister Henrietta Lopez, and her beloved son Tommy Sanchez.

A memorial service celebrating Bea's beautiful life will be held at Baca's Funeral Chapel 300 E. Boutz Road on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.
