ANTONIO MEZA ORDUÑEZ, age 70, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 17, 1955, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Adela Meza and Martin Orduñez. Antonio was employed as a farm labor and a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

In 1975, Antonio married the love of his life, Delia Alvarez and spent 50 wonderful years together; raising their daughter, Annette Ordonez (Hector Gomez); his loving mother, Adela Meza of Mexico; 3 brothers, Felipe Orduñez (Antonia) of Amarillo, TX., Jose Orduñez (Irma) of Oklahoma City, OK and Carlos Orduñez (Jennifer) of Mexico; 5 sisters, Elodia Orduñez of Cd, Juarez, Chihuahua, MX., Concepcion Levario (Socorro) and Magdalena Nunez (Mario) all from Oklahoma City, OK., Dolores Orduñez (Rogelio) and Angela Orduñez (Miguel) all from Mexico. 5 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Antonio was preceded in death by his father, Martin Orduñez and a daughter, Adrianne Ordonez.

Visitation for Mr. Orduñez will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Santa Rosa de Lime Catholic Church, 5035 Holsome Road, with the Prayer Vigil at 10:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter with The Reverend Gino Wilcox, Celebrant.  The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 100 N. Espina Street where he will be laid to rest in the family plot.

Serving as casket bearers will be his family and friends.
