Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, ANGELINA VALLES FACIO, age 90, lifelong resident of San Miguel, entered eternal life on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. "Nana," as she was fondly known was born March 10, 1934, to Guadalupe Beck and Gomercindo Valles.
In 1961, our Nana married the love of her life, Herman G. Facio and together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage; raising their two children; son, Dino Facio (Debra) and daughter, Bea Herrera (Bobby). Angelina was employed as a cash clerk at K-Mart for 20 years until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of the San Miguel Catholic Church and a devout member of its Sacred Heart of Jesus and various prayer groups within the church.
Along with her husband and children, she is also survived by a sister, Celia Gonzalez; 5 grandchildren Bridgett, Brandi (Joshua), Dino Jr., Bobby Brooke (Amos), Zachary (Alyssa); 5 great grandchildren Isabella, Aubrey, Maverick, Cristian, Aidan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Luis, and Jose Valles; and 2 sisters, Magdalena Valles, and Raquel Reyes.
Visitation for Mrs. Facio will begin at 10 AM Monday, July 8, 2024, at the San Miguel Catholic Church, 19217 S. Highway 28 in San Miguel with the Prayer Vigil at 10:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter with The Reverend Alonso Quiñonez, celebrant.
The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the San Miguel Cemetery where she will be laid to rest in the family plot.
Serving as casket bearers will be Dino Facio Jr., Bobby Brooke Herrera, Zachary Facio, Joshua Padilla, Orlando Gonzalez, and Ferine Valles.
The family would like to thank HomeKare of Dona Ana and Ambercare of Las Cruces for their loving care with our Nana. We would also like to thank Enriquetta Facio, sister-in-law, for all her help, care, and compassion with Nana during our time of need.
