Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, ANGELICA LEOS RAMOS, age 89, of Anthony entered eternal life on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 21, 1934, in Guadalupe D.B., Chihuahua, Mexico to Elfida Escajeda and Manuel Leos. Mrs. Ramos was a loving homemaker, and devout member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Juan Manuel Ramos, (Laura) of Anthony, NM; five daughters, Armida Mendez (Pablo) of El Paso, TX., Elfida Zapata (Jose Alfredo) of Socorro, TX., Lupe Flores (Tavo Munoz) of Anthony, NM, Gloria Chavez (Fred) of Las Cruces, NM, and Cathy Ramos of Anthony, NM; three sisters, Rosa Maria Leos of Horizon, TX., Irene Escalante (Clemente) of Tornillo. TX., and Raquel Gutierrez of El Paso, TX. Other survivors include 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ramos was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Juan Ramos on April 7, 2016; daughter, Imelda Ramos; brother, Jose Leos and sister, Manuela Alfaro.

Visitation will begin at 3 PM Friday, August 11, 2023, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Street in Anthony, NM, where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled at 3:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter with the Reverend Alejandro Reyes Celebrant. At her request cremation will follow and Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.

Serving as casket bearers will be her grandsons.
