ANACLETO RUACHO, age 87, of Anthony entered eternal life on Monday, September 23, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born December 24, 1936, in Villa Ocampo, Durango, Mexico to Maria del Socorro Ortiz and Gertrudis Roacho. Anacleto was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Border Steel and W. Silvers, Inc. until his retirement. He was a devout member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church where he participated in the food bank for numerous years, as well as numerous church activities.
Those left to mourn his passing include his loving children; 2 sons, Raul, and Rudy Ruacho of Anthony; 3 daughters, Connie Clark (John) of El Paso, TX; Sukie Mijarez (Jaime) of Sunland Park, NM, and Susie Ruacho (Bonnie Perea) of Anthony; his son-in-law, Humberto Pando; 4 brothers, Roman Roacho (Micaela), Jose Roacho (Mila), Jesus and Pedro Roacho; and a sister, Isabel Roacho. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anacleto was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Raquel Reyna Ruacho; daughter, Leticia Ruacho-Pando; 2 sons, Fernando and Victoriano Ruacho; 3 sisters, and 6 brothers.
Visitation for Mr. Ruacho will begin at 6 PM Monday October 7, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Street in Anthony where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in the same church. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at The Anthony Community Cemetery, 750 Acosta Road where he will be laid to rest alongside his loving family.
Serving as casket bearers will be Rudy, and Susie Ruacho, Jimmy Mijarez, Jr., Humberto, II., Daniel and Sergio Pando-Ruacho.
