Alicia Serna, age 64 of Las Cruces, NM, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024, with her family by her side.

Alicia was a lifelong resident of Old Picacho Village. The legacy that she lives behind is kindness, genuine, caring, positive and loving to all. She was a woman devoted to her faith in God and love for her entire family. True blessing to everyone she knew. Alicia will be missed by those lives that she touched.

Alicia was preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Martina Serna, and her son Victor Medina. Alicia was a devoted mother and leaves behind her daughter Senaida Rank and son in law, John Rank. Loving grandmother to Memory, Isaiah, Johnathan, Justin, Makayla Rank and Victor Medina. Proud great-grandmother to Malaya and Matti Garcia. Alicia is also survived by her siblings, Millie Chavez, Ernestina Hernandez and Eduardo Serna and countless nieces and nephews. In addition, one very special nephew she loved dearly, David Diaz.

Service will be held Monday, September 30, 2024, at Basilica San Albino, 2280 Calle Principal in Mesilla, NM.   The Prayer Vigil will begin at 11:30 am with mass to follow at noon.
