ALFRED "PAT" C. CESTARO, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on March 19, 2026, with his devoted wife by his side at the age of 92. Born November 24, 1934, in New York, NY, to Giro and Rose Ribolini Cestaro, Pat dedicated much of his early life to service as a Marist Brother. His commitment to education led him to leadership roles in several Catholic high schools across New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California.

He was a proud graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, Marist College, and St. John's University.

On June 29, 1979, Pat married the love of his life, Cathleen Miller of Hastings, Pennsylvania, in Ojai, California. Their partnership was one of deep affection, mutual respect, and shared purpose.

He is survived by his wife Cathleen, as well as one nephew and one niece, who will remember him with affection and gratitude. Pat was preceded in death by his parents and his two older brothers.
