Alejandro Ruiz Sanchez: A Dedicated Serviceman and Beloved Soul (1951 - 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alejandro Ruiz Sanchez, a devoted family man and a dedicated member of the National Guard. He will forever be a magnificent father, brother, uncle, and friend. Alejandro left this world on July 15, 2023. His departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will forever be etched in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born in Las Cruces to Cruz Sanchez and Guadalupe Ruiz in 1951, Alejandro's journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his unyielding spirit. A man of remarkable character, he was a shining example of integrity, compassion, and resilience. He believed in the power of hard work and pursued excellence in everything he did. Alejandro's determination led him to many accomplishments in his personal and professional life.

Alejandro's passions varied, from hunting, fishing and all the freedoms that nature has to offer. He found joy in spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Rosco. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and he shared that joy with those around him. His zest for life was infectious, and his ability to find beauty in the simplest of things was a gift he freely shared.

As we mourn the loss of Alejandro, let us also celebrate the profound impact he had on all our lives. His legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire us in the days and years ahead. Though he may have left this world, his memory will forever remain alive in the stories we share, the lessons we've learned, and the love we hold in our hearts.

A memorial service to honor Alejandro's life will be held at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road on August 18, 2023 at 2:30 pm. Alejandro Ruiz Sanchez will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace
