It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alejandro Rey Roman on June 3, 2025. He was born May 12, 2011 in Las Cruces to Samantha Salaiz.

Those left to mourn him include his mother Samantha Salaiz, sisters Isabella Roman and Estella Roman. His Nana Rosemary, Grandma (Gram) Bombi, Grandpa Mike, Uncle Jacob, Tia Crystal, Tia Amanda, Uncle Johnny and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Alejandro took pride in his car collection. He would be able to tell you anything you wanted to know about cars. He loved cruising in the Camaro and going to car meets to look at all the cool cars.  His big Gorgeous smile, his big heart and his larger than life personality will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by Great Grandpa George, Uncle Jimmy, Great Grandparents Estella and Fernando Salaiz, Great Great Grandma Esther, Guerra Cousins, Cousin Kahlil Jackson and Cousin Lawrence Rubio.

A prayer vigil will be held on Friday January 20, 2025 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Visitation will begin at 05:00 P.M. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 06:00 P.M. and the funeral liturgy will be at 06:30 P.M. At the family's request following services cremation will take place and inurnment will be at a later date.

Serving as casket bearers include Isabella Roman, Raul Avila, Johnny Bustamante, Jacob Estrada, Joshua Salaiz, Fernando Salaiz, Alfonso  Bustamante, Jonathan Bustamante, Joe Salaiz and Eli Martinez.
