Biography

OSCAR R. GONZALEZ, 56, of San Miguel entered eternal life Monday, June 11, 2012. He was born March 7, 1956 in Anthony to Arnulfo T. and Antonia Ruiz Gonzalez. He was employed in heating & cooling installation and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Those left to mourn his passing include his parents of San Miguel; son, Anthony Gonzalez of Colorado; brother, Rudy Gonzalez (Martina) of San Miguel; sisters, Gracie Astorga (Lorenzo) of Las Cruces, Sylvia Archibeque (Tim) of Los Lunas, and Priscilla G. Jacques also of Las Cruces, as well as nieces and nephews, Rudy, Jr., Christopher, Marisa, Lorenzo Jr., Eric, Cindy, Dylan, Dante and Nicolas. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ruperto and Herminia Gonzalez, maternal grandfather, Manuel Ruiz, niece, Leandra Colley, and two uncles, Tom and Flo Gonzalez.
Calling hours will begin at 7 PM Friday, June 15, 2012 in San Miguel Catholic Church with the Prayer Vigil scheduled for 7:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the same church. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the San Miguel Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
Serving as casket bearers will be Rudy Gonzalez, Jr., Christopher Gonzalez, Lorenzo Astorga, Jr., Eric Astorga, Nicolas Jacques, Dylan Archibeque and Michael Borunda.
